Knowledge of electric hammer - working principle

What is an electric hammer?

The utility model relates to an electric rotary hammer drill with a safety clutch and a pneumatic hammer mechanism.

How does the electric hammer work?

The electric hammer drives the piston to reciprocate compressed air in a cylinder by the transmission mechanism. The periodic change of the air pressure in the cylinder drives the impact hammer in the cylinder to reciprocate the top of the hammer head, as if we were knocking with a hammer. Hence the name of electric hammer! With a set of pneumatic structure, the impact force of electric hammer is much higher than that of impact drill!

Take devon1102 & 1103 series swing rod electric hammer as an example.

1. Impact mechanism 2. Safety clutch mechanism 3. Carbon brush reversing mechanism

4. Function conversion mechanism 5. Hammer clamping mechanism 6. Sealing area

What are the key factors affecting the service performance and life of electric hammer?

1. Motor ★

2. Switch

3. Bearing

4. Sealing

5. Transmission mechanism
